Nestled in the quiet countryside of north-central Missouri, our venue offers a peaceful and picturesque setting for your loved one’s special day. We hope your time at Emerson Fields is filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Our location is 35932 U.S. Highway 63 Excello, MO, just a few miles south of Macon. Check out the map below for complete directions.

From the North (heading southbound on Hwy 63):

Because the highway is divided, you’ll turn left (East) at Laser Drive, then make a safe U-turn to head back northbound. Our entrance will be just under a mile ahead on your right. Watch for the Emerson Fields sign on the East side of the highway.

From the South (heading northbound on Hwy 63):

You’ll simply turn right (East) onto our private lane directly from the highway—watch for the Emerson Fields sign on the East side of the highway.

Emerson Fields is centrally located in Missouri, about 45 minutes north of Columbia and an equal distance from either Kansas City or St. Louis.

Coming from the south? Do not turn off U.S. Highway 63 until you’re at Emerson Fields; 2 miles north of Excello, MO.

FAQs for Guests

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking, walking to the ceremony location, and finding your seat.

Where will the ceremony be?

That’s up to the couple! Emerson Fields offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations. We recommend dressing comfortably and being prepared for either setting.

Is there parking available on-site?

Yes, we offer free onsite parking. There’s ample space for guest vehicles, and overnight parking is allowed if needed. Vehicles should be off the premises by 10 AM the following day. Please do not block the main entrances of the venue or the pavilion.

Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility concerns?

Yes. The main venue building is climate-controlled and ADA-compliant, with accessible entrances and restrooms. Golf cart shuttles may be available for outdoor ceremonies—check with the couple or venue manager if you need assistance. You may drop off guests with mobility concerns at the main entrance before parking your vehicle.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

That depends on the couple’s wishes. Please check with them if you're unsure whether children are invited. For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times and are not allowed near the lake without an adult.

Can I bring in my own alcoholic beverages?

No. All beverages are provided by the couple or bar service they’ve hired and must be served through the bar. If you have questions about what will be served, please reach out to the couple for details.

Are there local lodging or transportation options?

Yes! There are several great options within a short drive of the venue. We recommend the Comfort Inn & Suites in Macon, as well as nearby short-term rentals on Airbnb and VRBO. If you’re coming from the south, Columbia, MO also offers a wide range of hotels. Please click HERE for more recommendations.

What is the smoking policy?

The designated smoking area is outside on the north side of the venue. Please place all cigarette butts in the receptacle. Please do not smoke near the entrances of the venue. No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the facilities.
