We are Steve and Amelia Holder, a husband and wife team, and we have been in the business of creating spaces where memories are made for over 20 years.
We love creating heart-warming spaces for people to enjoy, inviting about 100-200 of your friends over to our place on the weekend and serving couples that desire to have a relaxed, family-filled emphasis to their wedding day.
We’ve built our venue with a timeless design in mind and have put much of ourselves into its creation. By combining our individual talents of building unique and beautiful spaces with a vision for how it will photograph, we’ve created a timeless and versatile space.
Our venue has been featured in publications, editorials and styled socials but our biggest accolade is the laughter and sincere feedback we get from your family and friends that come to celebrate with you for your wedding here at Emerson Fields.
On a typical day at Emerson Fields, you can find us working around the venue. Steve’s currently servicing the golf cart and getting gutters up on the new pavilion and Amelia’s working away at the computer with a cup of coffee and a podcast playing or outdoor mowing and a podcast playing.
It is our top priority to assist you in hosting a beautiful wedding day that tells your story and lets your personality shine through. We know your guests will feel comfortable creating fun memories here. Your event or wedding day celebration will be given our ALL and we count it a privilege and a blessing!
We look forward to meeting you!

When we’re not busy working around the Emerson Fields property, where we also reside, you can find us with our daughter’s and their families and our two adorable grandsons, or taking weekday trips to the lumberyard, and probably designing our next “project” together.
If you’d like to know more about us here are our top three things you might not know:
Loves a little coffee with her cream and sugar in the mornings.
Has had her realtor license and sold modular homes as well as helped Steve with construction company and flipping houses… but does not want to be the next Joanna Gaines because she likes to be behind-the-scenes and be able to run to the grocery store without being noticed.
Has never worn a graduation cap and gown and doesn’t regret it.
Started Holder Construction a couple of decades ago as a side job to his career in law enforcement and it has grown to include: new home construction, shouse construction, flipping houses, remodeling, mission work, church expansions, and most recently venue and pavilion design and construction.
Served four years in the USAF and spent 7 months of that time in the sands of Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
Never actually proposed to Amelia.
