Hi! We're Steve & Amelia Holder, a husband and wife team, and owners of Emerson Fields. Over the last 15 years we've poured our hearts into creating memorable experiences for couples' once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.

Here, you're not just reserving a space for a few hours. You're reserving our family-owned and operated estate for a full wedding experience - along with a team who truly cares. Your wedding is too important to stress out about every little detail. So, we'll provide you with a list of recommended and fully-vetted vendors to help you with the planning.
And, from the start, we'll provide transparency, clear communication, and collaborative meetings with you and your planner to ensure everyone is on the same page. We'll host an open house with a menu tasting so you can test out potential caterers and get familiar with the venue in advance. And we'll be on-site to ensure you have everything you need for a wonderful experience.

Combining Steve's unique talent of building beautiful spaces with Amelia's past experience as a wedding photographer, we've thoughtfully designed every element of the estate with weddings in mind. We Help You Create the Experience You Want
At Emerson Fields, you can make the weekend what you want, using the vendors and decor you want. In other words, we won't limit you to specific vendors and specific layouts. Instead, you're welcome to choose professional vendors that best suit your food, beverage, and decor needs.
We also provide a wide range of complimentary furnishings - including tables and chairs - to help check a few of those to dos off your list. And on your weekend, we'll ensure every detail you've planned is perfectly in place. The result will be an exceptional experience from the warm welcome to the final goodbye.

Finding a convenient place to celebrate and accommodate your guests may feel like a large weight on your shoulders, but it doesn't have to. Amelia, Steve, and our staff were all born and raised in the area. So, in addition to the wonderful on-site lodging, we also know the best local hotels and Airbnbs.
And Emerson Fields is sure to feel like home, because, it is our home. We live on-site - close enough to be here when you need us, but far enough to let you and your guests enjoy all there is to see and do. Like fishing at the lake or spending quality time relaxing on our patio overlooking the dock, there are endless opportunities and areas to explore.

Amelia wears many hats. As a committed wife, mother, visionary, and liaison for your entire experience you can expect to be treated as if you were one of her own. And she’ll treat your wedding weekend experience with the same care and commitment that way too.

As husband to both Amelia and the estate, Steve keeps the venue running in tip top condition. You’ll find him tending to the property, which he built by hand, and maintaining the high quality standards we are committed to providing to you.
